Vehicle Import Process
A transparent journey from selection to delivery
Requirement Identification
We begin with discussing the requirement, budget and select the vehicle.
Estimate Price
After requirement gathering, we will analyse the recent auction prices, taxes and other information and share the estimate import price.
Advance Payment
An advance payment is required to proceed with the confirmation.
Auction Bidding and Purchasing
We'll start bidding in auctions or purchasing the vehicle directly from dealers within a two weeks period. If we couldn't secure the vehicle at the price we agreed within two weeks, we'll refund the advance payment.
Open the LC
We'll provide the auction images, auction sheets and proforma invoice and you can open the LC from any bank as you prefer.
Arrange the Shipment
Shipment arranged within 2-4 weeks after the LC confirmation. During this period, vehicle will arrive to Japan port yards and inspection process will commence. We'll share the yard photos and the inspection certificate once those are done.
Shipping and Arrival
Vehicle will arrive to Hambantota port within 2 weeks after the ship departs from Japan.
Customs Clearance
Once the vehicle documents arrive to the bank, we can start the customs clearance process. At this stage, you can make the import duty payment directly to Sri Lanka Customs.
Vehicle Delivery
Finally we can collect the vehicle from Hambantota port and deliver your dream car!
